Conversion house Schoenenberg, 2015–2017

The former farmhouse with eight rooms has been completely renovated both inside and out. The facade has been repainted with mineral paint and new windows are now replacing all the old ones. We completely stripped the large attic, which was converted into a living space in the 1980s, insulated it according to today's standards and reorganised the space. The old electric storage heater was replaced by an air-water heat pump and the entire heat distribution was rebuilt. Wall heating elements made of clay panels now replace the old radiators and provide a pleasant room climate.

Sections roof conversion

All sanitary and electrical installations have been completely renewed. The walls were plastered with loam, the old wooden floors were sanded where possible or otherwise replaced by new spruce or Douglas fir wooden slats.
